Cornflour Slime!!

Today we experimented with the properties of cornflour. We learned that it is a non Newtonian Liquid which means that it's both a solid and a liquid. We could roll a ball with the mix and let it 'melt' between our fingers.
To test the strength of the cornflour mix Mrs Davies put a raw egg in a bag with the mixture and sealed it. We asked Mr Coles to drop it from a high point to the floor to see if the egg would break....see our video below to find out the answer.
